Shazam is one of the apps which we all need in our iPods. We are on the car and we hear this amazing song but we don't know the name of it. Well, Shazam is the solution! Just activate it and it will automatically tell you the name of the song and even the artist!!!

Shazam actually takes the audio fingerprint based on a time-frequency graph (called spectrogram) and matches it with its own library of music. Each song has its own audio fingerprint so shazam will never make a mistake with a song.

We totally recommend this app for your device. It does not occupy a very big space in your iPod memory and you never know when you will need it. We could say that it is like the condoms, better carry them even though you will not need them, my friends.

GTA: Chinatown Wars

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is on of the most varied RPGs ever created for iPod developed by Rockstar Games. The famous game GTA now adapted for iPod was recently been considered as one of the best Rolle Playing Games yet created for an iTouch. With a great story line, a number of almost infinite missions, and an enormous variety of weapons GTA: Chinatown Wars has lately escalated into the top 20. In the game you will be able to the a large number of things: from illegal racing in the middle of the city to classic GTA stuff like getting in trouble with the police and trying to run away. You will do so at the same time you earn money from drug dealing, helping people, working for mafia chiefs and many other mini-games.

You will have the opportunity to work for many chiefs of the triad, and other people, including a police officer, sub-chiefs and people seeking for the triad's power all to find out the truth about what happened to your uncle's precious sword, which is the key for him to escalate and become one of the most important gangsters in New York. The story starts with you coming to NYC directly from China. as you get there a gang of south koreans, or so is thought, drags you and steal the precious Chinese sword from you. Directly after we get to know the protagonist's uncle which is one of the main characters in this amazing asiatic story in the suburbs of an american city. You will be able to use your house as refuge, during persecutions, as well as its garages. The mobile mode also allows you to do several things as buying weapons online and searching for places in the map.

My Opinion:
It is impressive how in a single game there can be about 200 drug dealers all around the map that are willing and able to sell you drug. I personally almost became a millionaire only selling drug. The bad part is that if you get caught with drug by police you loose it all, and there is also a limit in terms of how much you can actually carry around even though you can deposit as much as you want in your homes. My favourite mini-game is the one where you are making molotov cocktails in the gas station, it is extremely fun, and the cocktails are extremely useful. The only bad part of this game, in my opinion, is that you cannot buy businesses. Still the positive side completely ditches the negative side... I don't knwo what you are waiting for go try it right NOW!!!

Call of Duty: Zombies

Call of Duty: Zombies is one of the best iPod shooter games in the app store. Developed by Activision it is based on the zombie mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops for pc, PS3, xbox, etc. In this case the zombie mode has been further developed into a single game with four different maps. You have an enormous variety of weapons as in the original game, from the basic starting pistol and doubled barrel shotguns to space guns and flamethrowers, it is one of the best things in the game, weapon diversity. You can even get a random weapon instead of buying a specific one.

Every map starts with you placed in a limited space, where you are isolated, and you are surrounded by 6 to 10 entrances where zombies are constantly coming from. As you kill zombies you increase your score, head-shots make you enter a score multiplying mode. As you get kills you will earn points, these can be exchanged for weapons, grenades, to activate tramps, or you can use them to open doors and increase your map's size. The game incorporates a multiplayer mode, where you can play with another player in the same maps, either through a bluetooth connection, or an online connection. The only problem is that there is an infinite number of rounds and, unless you are playing a map which has some kind of mission to fulfil, at the end it starts to get repetitve, unless you are playing with one of your friends.

My Opinion:
Great! It is extremely addictive and the fact that it has a online mode makes it even better. This game will get you, and your friends, to play endless rounds of this amazing game. Once you satrt there is no way of stopping it.

Anyone who has an iPod wishes to end with the eternal music dilemma  playing whatever music you wish to at any moment. Many solve this problem hearing their music through YouTube  which is quite tiresome, others don't mind spending money on purchasing the tracks from iTunes, we bring you the alternate solution:

GROOVESHARK

This great website is the equivalent to spottify but online, having absolutely no limitation and no price. Try it out! Just follow the link (clicking the word) to access the web and open up an account, 100% free and pretty fast. Then it is just a matter of searching your favorite songs and adding them to the listening queue.

Now there is just one problem to solve, we wish to acces Grooveshark from our apple plataform (iPod, iPhone, iPad etc). Some time ago an app was launched to do so, but it was soon eliminated, as several discographies showed their objections to it and apple decided to take no risks and eliminated the app. We bring to you 2 different solutions.

Remote Control Grooveshark (iTunes)

This app for your iPod, which IS available on the iTunes (link) will allow you to control grooveshark from your iPod, but it is quite restricted as you will always need a computer on, which will only let you use the application at home.

Complete App ANYWHERE (Cydia)

Anyway, we want to have this wonderful music source wherever we are, so we bring to you the final solution which will allow you to have Grooveshark everywhere. Once your iPod is jailbreaked, if not consult here, and you have added the iphoneate repo, any problems consult here, follow these simple instructions to obtain Grooveshark.

1. Download the Grooveshark trial version from Cydia (it is created by Bigg Boss)
2. Once installed, make sure you play at least one song and then uninstall it
3. Enter Cydia, and this time download Grooveshark from the iPhoneate repo
4. Respring your device and you will now have unlimited Grooveshark!

Infinity Blade I and II

Infinity Blade I and Infinity Blade II form one of the most perfect sequels in the iPod gaming world. They are played in a first adventure game mode. Developed by Chair entertainment this game is one of the most impressive games Rolle Playing Games (RPG) I have tried.

It is based on a character that is fighting against a semi-god on Earth that calls himself an immortal. The character played by you has is constantly trying to kill him. The story starts when your father is killed by the immortal you start of with the first generation, which is the son of the soldier killed by the immortal. As time goes on your rivals increase their level of power, health and damage, and you do too. You will have to fight a series of enemies until you enter the grande hall, where you must fight the immortal's personal body guard, and if you manage to kill him you will be able to fight against the immortal. The story can end three different ways, all three excellent, that you must discover... so START NOW!


My Opinion:
Both are extremely entertaining, and when I say extremely I mean it. These two games have gorgeous graphics that can not be compared to any other iPod game yet created. Personally the best part is the ending where you discover the truth of the game and its purpose. After a couple of rounds of the game it gets repetitive even though the fighting is always awesome. A very cool feature about the game is that the character speak in a completely weird language that was specifically created for this game.

Subway Surfers

Subway Surfers is a platform based game similar to Temple Run. Developed by Kiloo games and Syloo games it is one of the most addictive games I have ever tried. It is based on a person or character, which you can choose out of many, that runs through a series of barriers and tunnels, that is being persecuted by a police officer and his dog. You, as a player, must evade the guard and at the same time earn coins in order to buy avatars and/or develop your permanent bonuses as well as buying instantaneous, single use, items. There are also some avatars that you must unlock, and therefore you cannot buy them until you full fill collecting a certain number of items. There are four permanent bonuses: super sneakers (where you get a pair of powered jump sneakers), times 2 multiplier (multiplies your score), powerjet (ou fly where there are no obstacles and you can freely collect a lot of coins), and coin magnet (which allows you to collect coins from all three lains in the game). These all last a certain period of time, and to get them you must walk past the item's symbol in the game. It does not have an online mode, but nevertheless you can compete with you friends in terms of who gets the highest score. There is also a bonus feature that allows you to collect coins for every 50 runs your friends do.

My Opinion:
I personally think it is TOO addictive. Once you start to get the game, when your score rises and after completing a couple missions that allow you to increase your starting score multiplier, you will not be able to stop playing the game for more than a day until you beat all your friends. Its graphics are also good, but you have to consider that it is meant not be be real, as in comic style.

Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus

Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus is a first person shooter game. It is porbably one of the best shooters I've ever tried for iPod. Developed by Gameloft this expectacular game is set up in different locations, with an amazing variety of weapons, which will appeal to your senses creating a feeling of being IN the game. You start of in an island when suddenly one of your teammates comes and rescues you. You end up escaping and then the real game starts. You must go with vehicules around to achieve missions changing between guns, shotguns, pistols, bazookas and many more. This game has also an online mode in which you can compete against other players around the world to find out who is the quickest and faster gunner in the Favelas of Brazil or in Saudi Arabia. Who knows?

My Opinion:

I personally recomend this game because it is really enterntaining. You will really get that fuzzy chiles when you acomplish a mission after the hard work you spend on it. The scenario is also very impressive. You will go through the streets of Iran or pass by the forest of Afghanistan.

Hello dear followers today I will show you Tiny Tower. This free simulation game is actually one of the most adictive games I've ever tried. This game is based on two types of floors. One which makes posible for 5 people to live in and the other type is just business. There are 7 types of businesses and each person has different abilities on each. The characters also have a dream job. If you get your business to be run by 3 people with dream job of that specific place, you will get double stock. It is pretty cool!

My Opinion:

You start of thinking its a little boring since you enter regularly, but the fact that it takes real time for floors to build up or to buy stock makes it really interesting. Yo might start to check it out frequently and as you start growing your building upwards you find it really cool and continue. The  fact that you don't have to pay to earn any kind of money makes it really good. You can buy whatever you want just by playing the game and acomplishing missions. Try it, its totally FREE!!

Barrel animations

Barrel is another great aplication you will be able to find in Cydia. It allows you to define with what animation you change pagea in your iPods homepage just as you see in the images.

Once you have downloaded it to set it up is VERY simple. Simply acces your setting where you will find a new cattegory called Barrel. Open it and then simply define which application you desire to use.

NO TO SOPA!!

We are suffering an attempt against our freedom. The federal government of the united is disposed to pass a law which gives the government a power similar to that which have in countries like China, Arab countries and North Korea over internet.

The sopa law has been passed as an attempt to protect the "work and intellectual ownership" of artists by simply destroying any web they believe to have this content. Is this fair when it has been US the consumers thanks to which so many artists have turned millionaire?? Yes it is true if they need the internet to make themselves famous they can use it but when WE, their followers want to hear their music we are going to find a federal announcment that thr web has been closed!! Is it fair that after attending their concerts or seing their movies at excessibly expensive fares we are not able to see them again?

This is just another example of how the USA believes itself to be over the world. Don't believe this law only allows them to close american websites, they will also be able to block acces to other countries webs and will do whatever to stop you!

We must stop this infection before it expands!! We podmen if we reach enough followers we will use all our strength on stoping the "ley sinde" in spain. All the internet must join forces we must not let thrm defeat us!
