Shazam is one of the apps which we all need in our iPods. We are on the car and we hear this amazing song but we don't know the name of it. Well, Shazam is the solution! Just activate it and it will automatically tell you the name of the song and even the artist!!!
Shazam actually takes the audio fingerprint based on a time-frequency graph (called spectrogram) and matches it with its own library of music. Each song has its own audio fingerprint so shazam will never make a mistake with a song.
We totally recommend this app for your device. It does not occupy a very big space in your iPod memory and you never know when you will need it. We could say that it is like the condoms, better carry them even though you will not need them, my friends.
